AWCS (Launceston) Ltd are a specialist civil engineering contractor based in the South West, but offering a nationwide service. We have been operating for ten years offering the following specialist services.

Sheet Piling – Installation of temporary and permanent works sheet piling using specialist Movax side grip piling rigs. The largest  SPH 80 hammer mounted on a Hitachi ZX 350 excavator and a SP 50 hammer on Case CX 225 zero tail swing excavator.

We are able to carry out deep excavations up to 10 metres deep, complete design and install packages or individual elements, designed, installed, excavated, tanks/pump stations etc installed/constructed to suit the clients requirements.

Single Sided Ground Support Systems – where ground conditions do not allow the use of cantilever piles we can offer a propped wall solution again designed, supplied, installed, supplied and dismantled.

All operatives are highly trained and experienced with CSCS, CPCS, IPAF, Confined Spaces qualifications and many more.

AWCS pride themselves on their intensive ongoing training programme with a very low turnover of directly employed staff and it is our philosophy that the company is only as good as its employees and this has reflected itself over the last ten years of trading.

AWCS work for all the major contractors and regional contractors in the UK in the construction industry and will travel nationwide.
